NO TIME LIKE NOW and other news
Today I’m presenting NO TIME LIKE NOW, a vignette I made with Justyn T Davis, Daniel Selby and Manu Menon last summer in NYC.
NO TIME LIKE NOW is about the transformation that occurs when Manu confronts the force that is chasing him. The film is based on a years-long recurring dream, and the chase scene references the one in the film Good Time.

Besides this short film, at the end of January I published an in-depth report from southern Armenia for PassBlue, “Armenia Finds Piecemeal Help From the UN to Manage Azerbaijan’s Aggression, It Says.”
Please have a read to understand what is at stake between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and how powers like Türkiye, Russia, the U.S. and France all play a role in the country and region’s future. It was my first time reporting from the region and I hope that sense of curiosity comes across in the text and photos.
In November I profiled star architects Guillaume Koffi and Issa Diabaté for Financial Times’ HTSI Magazine. The article, “Koffi & Diabaté’s radical vision for Africa,” explores how the Ivorian architects are proposing a new urbanism by looking to their roots. It was an honor to get an inside view on some of the most impressive visions of both architecture and urban planning around.
